The Possibility of Future Growth
If hockey ever finds a place in Turkmenistan, it will come through small, grassroots introductions — perhaps a mall rink built for leisure skating, a school offering a basic equipment demo, or a community group experimenting with inline hockey. These moments could spark light curiosity, but without sustained facilities and coaching, the sport is unlikely to become a regular part of Turkmenistan’s sporting identity.
